Gusty uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies to run the app, keep users signed in, secure the service, and remember user choices.

This notice explains how Gusty uses these technologies in the web app and, where relevant, similar storage in the mobile app.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage and app storage are similar technologies that allow Gusty to remember information on your browser or device.

In this notice, “storage” means cookies, local storage, session storage, app storage and similar technologies.

2. What Gusty uses storage for

Gusty currently uses only necessary storage and preference storage.

Gusty does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, marketing pixels, or optional analytics cookies.

3. Cookie consent

Because Gusty currently uses only necessary storage and user preference storage, Gusty does not currently show a cookie consent banner.

If Gusty adds optional analytics, advertising, tracking, profiling, or similar non-essential storage in the future, Gusty will update this notice and add consent controls where required before using those technologies.

4. Third-party storage

Gusty does not currently allow third-party advertising or tracking providers to set cookies through the app.

Gusty may use service providers to host, secure and operate the app. Those providers may process technical request data as needed to provide their services, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Managing storage

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. You can also delete app storage through your device or app settings.

Clearing storage may sign you out, reset preferences, or make some features work less smoothly.

On iOS, you can also manage location permissions and app data in device settings.
